Tall, dark and handsome, Daedalus is that dream guy from everyone's fantasy. He may come across as a hardcore badass at first, but once you get to know him, you'll find that he's only a big stuffed teddy bear. Dae is very caring - although a few strands short of kind - and is protective over his friends and family. He isn't quick to judge, however making friends doesn't come naturally and takes a little effort from both parties. Dae has a good sense of humour, and he loves to have fun. He tries to make the best out of every situation and enjoys bringing smiles to the faces of others. Sometimes he can go too far, though. While Daedalus has a good time being a rebel child, he can also buckle down and be a mature, responsible character - although this bores him. He has a level head and will look at both sides of the argument before getting involved. When it comes to fight or flight, Dae fights. He will stand up for what he believes and will protect the ones he cares about. He is quick in his actions, although jumping into action without thought first often causes trouble. Dae isn't afraid of much, but he isn't perfect either. He is weary of humans and tends to stay as far away from them as possible. He's a pain to catch in the pasture, and unfortunately for the staff, he's too smart to fall for the grain in bucket trick. Dae also doesn't enjoy being stalled or trailered. Whenever the staff manages to get a hold of him, he is normally grumpy and pushy. Daedalus loves sugar cubes and soda, and will settle down with a little bit of either.

|| Training and Tack ||

Daedalus has basic training in show jumping, cross country and dressage. However, he rides fairly well and is a suitable lesson horse for the advanced riders who enjoy a bit of a challenge. He constantly fights the bit, chomping and chewing on it, but the staff have figured out that he runs straight through the bitless contraptions and merely does this for the losers who'll feel guilty and take the bit out for him. Dae is cinchy and will pin his ears when being groomed or tacked up. He'll turn his head, teeth - and fangs - bared, and will snap them. He has never bitten anyone, but the staff aren't counting their blessings. Of course Daedalus would never hurt anyone, but it's hilarious to see the more timid riders jump. On the ground, Dae likes to lift his back feet, threatening to kick. The staff generally avoid walking around him, and they try to leave him be whenever possible. Under saddle, however, he tends to change some. He tests his riders in the beginning and figures out their skill level. From there, he decides how he'll act. However, no matter what skill level of rider, he has never bucked or reared. He likes to prance around and show off, but he knows that he'll be in trouble for throwing a rider. Daedalus can also compete in western sports, however he excels in dressage and cross country.
